Cold sores are caused by the Herpes Simplex virus, and unfortunately it cannot be cured completely. When I mention a cold sore cure, I am referring to treatments that will provide relief and that will attempt to prevent a cold sore from developing.

It can be very embarrassing when you are constantly suffering from cold sores. If you are looking forward to a special event, chances are you could end up with a cold sore right when you need it the least.
