  2. hl2ep3 Says:

    it’s actually called just DDR :D

  3. newkie2008 Says:

    ddr3 is only a good choice if you have a core i system or the lastest amd phenom II cpus, ddr2 is the best choice for the older cpus like the core 2 duo, core 2 quad, phenoms and athlons

  4. hak426 Says:

    @krauser979 More than likely, you are using an integrated video card (it is built into the motherboard, and not a dedicated PCI-E/AGP) and your system is sharing 256mb of RAM with it.

  5. MAELKEMANDEN Says:

    DDR1 ftw :D

  6. LikeAVideo Says:

    @Significanto more mhz??

  7. QuietScreamsQUIET Says:

    its l33t MHz. lol

  8. Carroll B. Merriman Says:

    There are quite a few laptop manufacturers that also recognize the need for higher RAM which is why there are some which offer upgrade worthy versions where you can increase the RAM to about 2 GB also. This is not only possible but also becoming increasingly common in the world of mini laptops.

  9. Xelvielll Says:

    faster, and cooler

  10. Significanto Says:

    What’s the difference between a DDR3 ram with 1067 MHz and a DDR3 ram wtih 1337 MHz?

  11. sivadfa Says:

    The quoted size on the box is in metric bytes, the amount that the computer is quoting however is in binary bytes, not to mention the difference between different cards. Made even by the same machine. You ram sounds like it is running at maximum already.

    guys i got a problem im running windows 7 64bit and i got 4gigs of ram but its only letting me use 3.75 gigs of ram instead of all 4 can anybody help me unlock the rest of my ram?

  13. krispy42008 Says:

    i got 4 gigs of xms3 ddr3 and i can overclock it like crazy it will never overheat i highly recommend it you can even lower latency.

  14. Racmkd Says:

    Guys my 1gb ddr2 667 mhz PQI is working on 5-5-5-15 and its enough for a home pc not a gaming rig

  15. azn456789 Says:

    sure aim: ben4ever4877

  16. SniffelzZ Says:

    @azn456789

    download cpu-z and in the memory/SPD Tab it will tell you your memory speed in MHz not rams. If you have aim i could just tell u what i know which isnt much :P

  17. SniffelzZ Says:

    what is it ddr ddr2 3?

  18. mrstone56 Says:

    Hahahha

    700 rams

  19. azn456789 Says:

    yo can u help me i bought 1 gig of ram and inserted in the slot but it still says i have 700 rams

  20. RazerWire722 Says:

    @690759
    Windows is sticking a 128Gb limit on Windows 7. Taking the limit off and 64 bit Windows will hit 16 Eb. 64 gig pales in comparison.

  21. AndreaFranchitti Says:

    the CPU may be compatible with both ddr2 and ddr3.. but the motherboard will not

  22. SniffelzZ Says:

    ddr3 ?!?!?!? doesnt ur mobo underclock ur memory speeds to become stable?? and only increase if ur overclocking more than 20%

  23. wickedroy Says:

    good :) thank you!

  24. GiggleHz Says:

    yes you can, not only that you can more than likely run it faster than what the motherboard “supports”
