    lol u are so lucky

  2. OCE4500 says:

The LGA775/1156/1366 sockets are even more vulnerable to bent/broken pins because bent pins cannot be fixed with a mechanical pencil because it doesn’t go straight, it is curved in a specific way, and it is almost impossible to fix a broken pin if it’s not a ground/reserve pin.

..you are proud that?? you should have used tweezers for more control rather than pins or needles..

jajaj WOOOWW it works XD HOLY sH??

  5. Twisted86 says:

I always used 2 toothpicks to fix bent pins. :P

Still after it was broke that was pretty pimp that it actually worked.

    @NOXXism
It was gonna be a bigger pain in the ass if he was trying to unbend a middle one in the first place.

  8. cokacutter says:

    lol try intel chips

  9. 21boxhead says:

bent pins on amd is kindergarten shit… now try intel pins. all who view this video is dumb as hell if you could think to yourself and ask “can i unbent them pins before watching this video on how to unbent them”? I came here to watch a vid on how to desolder a intel775 socket that has broken pins, Im trying remove the socket itself and use a used one from old board…any videos on that?

    Crap.
    You didn’t fix a shit.

    LGA socket rules

  13. mavalpha says:

Not a permanent solution though. One accidental kick to the side of your case and you run the risk of heatsink wiggling the CPU enough to break its contact with the pin. You’ve already established that it’s a critical one, so your server will (a) crash if it was on, or may simply not turn on at the next LAN party. Need a dab of solder or similar to physically bond the pin to its former pad.

I fix my phenom ii x2 with a needle and an id card. my pin does not destroy and remove from the cpu

  15. WizardsMagic007 says:

How would we get away with 3 broken pins? My friend gave me an old AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and it has 3 missing pins. I have a 478 1.8GHZ Celeron to take pins from.

  16. warhammer39m says:

You can’t get nuclear power, since a 200$ cpu is breaking your budget already

Ok i’m out, exit is here –>

OMG. good job man ! I bent the pins on my Phenom quad core 9550. just by takening it out of the cpu holder from the retail box. The pins are so Tiny ! i used a knife edge to bend them back into row. and it worked.

  18. sora778 says:

if only we could do this with intel chips.

  19. pokerface3699 says:

i was thinking of soldering but how the f are u going to do that
