Then What?? My Vista PC (with a proprietary Acer case with a hard-to-find power supply) took a Sh*T! Now I would like to take that hard drive clear it and put it in my XP machine but I’m not sure how to do that. The hard drive still has Vista on it (Vista 64 bit). My Xp Machine has XP 32 bit. Anybody have any suggestions?

So Obsessed? Well, I came here to see where the competition is. I worked as a PC technician in the early 90’s building, upgrading and fixing PC’s. And I remember what a mess it was to change something as simple as a Hard Drive.

So yeah, it’s heart breaking that they are kinda stuck in the 90’s.

I use both PC and Mac, so I’m speaking from experience. I bet toblenetobias has never used a Mac for up to 7 days at a time.

  17. tobleronetobias says:

wtf. why are you so obbsesed with Mac.. if your so anti PC why are you watching how to install hdd if your Mac is so pro you can by it with 4tb…

  18. kristube says:

What do you mean by modify? Why not get a Mac Pro first, see how much you can configure it before you talk.

On a Mac Pro you can add up to 32GB of memory, four PCI Express expansion cards, and up to 4TB of hard drive storage. You can use ATI or NVIDIA graphic cards.

Spend sometime looking at the Mac Pro before you talk.

  19. Fitfatfoofite says:

If the word “Advanced” means everything is one part and you can’t possibly modify it, then you get a cookie!

  20. kristube says:

Wow! The Mac is truly years ahead! Take a look at the Mac Pro and the difference is clear!!!
