Yes, but generally, PSU manufacturers underrate their PSU’s and video card manufacturers recommend more power than is needed. While I wouldn’t suggest it, it is possible to run a video card on a PSU that is *SLIGHTLY* under the recommended power.

you build up static electricity and create a short which could distoy everthing inside your computer. (not good) To stop this: try to get off the carpet, wear a anti satic braclet (Any computer or electronic store has them) or before you work and while you are working on the computer just touch unpainted metal I.E inside the computer where the motherboard is screwed on. Don’t touch the mother board, touch the metal it is screwed on.

I just installed a GTX 275 FTW in the computer i am building. Everything powered up but there is no video. also the fan is not running. the card itself is on because after a period of time it gets hot. does anyone know what is wrong?
