I need some help How do I know what to use for my memory ratio ( I’m only running two DIMM’s) And with two sticks of ram what kind of VTT voltage should I use? I have the same MSI board and my ram is: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Ho, my god, the corsair case is very huge

upgrading to 8 gigs leads to a less than significant gain in performance, i wouldn’t recommend it because there’s really no improvement in upgrading to more than 6 gigs of ram, if you want to get the best out of your ram, you should get some faster ram, 1800 or 1866 and put it in the primary slot, and put the slower ones in the other slot
but i’d recommend you replace the hyperx with xms3 series from corsair, from my experience they don’t retain heat at all cause of all the fins on the top.

@Jorgie0101 Is MSI P55-GD80 a really good board? Compare to maybe lets say GIGABYTE GA P55-UD6 or ASUS P7P55D Deluxe… But In Price formation, the MSI seems to be very cheap/cheaper than ASUS and Gigabyte

I have a i5 overclocked to 3.6Ghz, with 4g of HyperX 1600 DDR3 memory, a MSI GD80 mobo & a GTX260 graphics card… would upgrading to 8g of memory give me a decent improvement in gaming? or anything else?

@comegato26 i think its the room temp
